Blow for Manchester United as prime target Fredy Guarin confirms Inter Milan contract extension talks

Premier League giants Manchester United and Chelsea are set to be dealt a massive blow in their pursuit of Inter Milan midfielder Fredy Guarin, as the player confirms negotiations for a contract extension have begun.

He said, “The President knows about the player I am,” talking to SkySport24. “We have talked about a contract renewal and we will do it soon.

“I want to give everything for Inter and for the fans who have always believed in me. I am relaxed and happy and the boss knows what I can give.” he added.

The Red Devils were seriously considering a move for the Columbian star to fill the void in midfield that they so desperately need. Talks of a possible player swap including Javier Hernandez were doing the rounds.

However, the defending English champions will now have to look elsewhere to cure the growing problem in the center of the park for David Moyes.
