#3 AC Milan eyeing loan move for Andreas Christensen

AC Milan are reportedly interested in offering Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen a way out of the club. The Italians want the Danish international on a loan deal and could make a move for him in January.

Christensen emerged as a revelation during Antonio Conte's regime at the Stamford Bridge, following his bust-ups with Antonio Rudiger and David Luiz. However, Maurizio Sarri has preferred to use both Rudiger and Luiz ahead of Christensen after switching to a three-man backline.

Their stellar presence in the backline has limited the 22-year-old to only League Cup appearances this season. Christensen's father suggested that his son could be open to a move in January and, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan have been alerted regarding the situation.

Commenting on his son's future on Danish TV, Christensen's father said, “If his situation doesn’t change around Christmas, we’ll obviously schedule a chat with Chelsea and say, “Okay, what can we do for Andreas? Can We move him?”
