What's the story?

Speaking to Sky Sports, Maurizio Sarri revealed that he is worried about Chelsea's horrific recent form but is unable to find an explanation for it.

In case you didn't know...

Chelsea moved to sixth place in the Premier League table after they were beaten 6-0 by Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in their Premier League fixture earlier today.

The Blues looked clueless against the defending champions and were completely outclassed by Pep Guardiola's side.

They are yet to win away from home this year and have lost three out of their last four Premier League games.

The heart of the matter

Chelsea manager Sarri was unable to explain his side's recent form after their humiliating 6-0 defeat to Manchester City.

He said: "At the moment I am not able to explain it. At the moment I don't know, maybe the goal we conceded after three minutes against this opponent was really very difficult to play, not to give them spaces, so we were in trouble.

"But I am not able at the moment to understand, because during the week my feeling was really very good. At the moment we have a big problem away [from home]. I don't know why."

The Italian further elaborated: "Today I didn't see my football. We need to understand why at the moment it isn't working. The reason is not easy. Something is changing, we were better away than we were home and now we are better at home.

"At the moment I am not able to see the reason, but I have to work for this because my target is to play my football. It is not to change another football, because at the moment we are playing another football.

What's next?

Chelsea are scheduled to face Malmo FF in the Europa League midweek before squaring off against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge in the FA Cup on February 19.
