Chelsea agree to "provisional deal" to bring back Jose Mourinho as manager

RC Celta de Vigo v Real Madrid CF - La Liga

In a shocking turn of events, Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho may have a second spell at Chelsea. Reports say that the London club and the Portuguese manager have agreed to a provisional deal that will see the “Special One” back at Chelsea.

Mourinho was at Stamford Bridge for the Brazil-Russia game and it is understood that he has had a deal with Roman Abramovich. If everything goes as planned, Mourinho will replace interim manager Rafa Benitez this summer on a three-year contract.

However, Chelsea face competition from Paris Saint-Germain who are ready to let go of Carlo Ancelotti should PSG fail to win the Ligue 1. In that case, the French club will look to bring in Mourinho and they too have reportedly struck a deal with the Portuguese.

Mourinho has made it clear that his move to Chelsea will depend on the club’s Champion’s League qualification. He admitted that he is determined to leave Madrid in the summer and has expressed desire of returning to England.
