Chelsea and PSG battle on Twitter ahead of Champions League clash

A little pre-match banter never hurts anyone, and that is what the social media team handling Paris Saint-Germain’s official twitter account had in mind when they mentioned Chelsea’s official handle in a tweet, boasting their club record of reaching the UEFA Champions League quarter finals for the past two consecutive seasons.

Chelsea’s PR team came up with a quick response to the tweet as they reminded the Ligue 1 champions that the Blues will reach the semi-final for the seventh time in 12 years should they beat them in their upcoming Champions League fixture.

However, it was PSG who had the final say in the Twitter feud.

The battle resumed again earlier today with PSG boasting about their largest Champions League vicory

Chelsea replied with a tweet of their own

And it continued…

Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain face each other on 3rd of April at the Parc des Princes for their first leg encounter for the Champions League semi-final spot.
