Chelsea, currently sitting 19 points behind leaders Manchester United in the Premier League, have had a terrible season so far, having got knocked out of the Champions League in the group stage.
The appointment of Rafa Benitez as the interim manger has also not helped matters, with the fan reaction being loud and angry towards the appointment. Despite all this, David Luiz still believes that Chelsea can have a successful season.
”We can still win the Europa League, are still in the FA Cup and fighting for a better position in the table so I think we can still get there and this season can still be very good,” said the Chelsea defender.
Luiz is expected to feature for Brazil in the international match against Russia, which will be played at his usual stomping ground, Stamford Bridge.
