The 26-year-old has 15 months left on his contract with the Naples outfit which is set to expire in the summer of 2018.

The report adds that Ghoulam has decided not to extend his contract with the Serie A side and Napoli are planning to cash in on him due to the risk of losing him for a free the season after. The Vicente Calderon outfit are expected to shell out €20m for the services of the 26-year-old, however, the deal is expected to go through only if FIFA’s transfer ban on Atleti is lifted in the summer.

According to Evening Standard, Premier League title hopefuls Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring Ross Barkley’s situation at Everton. Toffees manager Ronald Koeman has adopted a strong stance to deal with the 23-year-old’s current situation at the club and has also dropped him whenever he deemed necessary.

Barkley has been at loggerheads with the Goodison Park outfit over a new deal, with his current contract expiring at the end of next season. Everton will look to cash in on the 23-year-old if he doesn’t sign a new contract or he will be a free agent in the summer of 2018. Spurs are one of the many clubs monitoring the situation of Barkley but the White Hart Lane outfit are confident of landing him.

Arsenal are prepared to break the bank to keep hold of prized asset Alexis Sanchez, with the Evening Standard reporting that the Gunners are prepared to offer the Chilean £300,000-a-week to stay with the Emirates outfit. The 28-year-old’s current contract with the Gunners expires in the summer of 2018 and he has been heavily linked with a move away from the North London club.

Arsenal and Sanchez have been at loggerheads regarding the contract, with the Chilean demanding more than double of what he is currently earning – £140,000-a-week. The former Barcelona man has been heavily linked with a move to rivals Chelsea and Manchester City along with other top European clubs. Apart from Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are also nearing the end of their contracts and the Gunners need to tie them down with long-term contracts to build for a title challenge in the near future.
