Chelsea gather momentum in signing the £35million man

Chelsea have edged closer to signing the AS Roma central defender Antonio Rudiger, who is valued at £35million. Manchester clubs are also interested in signing the 23-year-old German international star which has forced Chelsea to move quicker in signing the central defender. Ozil reportedly spent 17 hours in Istanbul over the course of his latest trip to the city where he entered discussions with the Yellow Canaries regarding his future. Ercanlar has close ties to Fenerbahce and the reputed journalist claimed that Ozil held talks with Fenerbahce over a potential future move.
