Manchester United won the English Premier League this season, that also marked end of Sir Alex Ferguson’s long and glorious career as the manager of United. Gareth Bale bagged the PFA awards as he was outstanding for Tottenham this season, helping them finish fifth. Arsenal maintained their record of finishing in the top 4 every season under Arsene Wenger as the Gunners finished fourth, courtesy of a Laurent Koscielny goal. Defending champions Manchester City finished second and Europa Cup winners Chelsea finished third.
