EPL 2017/18: What's on the shopping list for the teams in January?

<p>

#13 Stoke City

West Ham United v Stoke City - Premier League

Though Mark Hughes' team is three points above the drop zone, Stoke City has had one of the leakiest defences in the League and fund will be made available to make necessary reinforcements. Fullbacks will be the top priority for Hughes as his team struggles on the right side with just the 18-year-old academy graduate Tom Edwards for the position.

Augsburg’s Daniel Opare is a player in this position who has been linked to the Potters. Darren Fletcher has struggled since his summer arrival and Hughes desperately needs reinforcements in the midfield. Ki Sung-Yeung is the most likely candidate for the position.

Saido Berahino and Mame Biram Diouf has been struggling this season and has spent most of the time at wing-back position. With Crouch, the only option left Hughes will try to bring in a striker if available. A potential target is Islam Slimani, who is out of favour at Leicester City.

Needed - Full Backs, Midfielder, Striker.

#12 Brighton & Hove Albion

Despite having a strong first half, the seagulls are the third lowest scores in the league and a striker will be the top priority for Chris Hughton in the January transfer window.

The Seagulls surely need something more than Glenn Murray and Tomer Hemed in that position and they are linked with a big-money move for Celtic’s Moussa Dembele who could fit their bills.

Hughton will also look for an upgrade on the wings, especially on the left side.

Needed - Striker, winger.

#11 Huddersfield Town

Huddersfield Town has broken all the preseason predictions and is six points off the drop zone.

A mid-table position is likely for David Wagner's team.

Terries are expected to stay quiet in the January window but a replacement for injured striker Elias Kachunga and a player who can fill the No-10 position will be likely candidates to come in.

Needed - expected to stay quiet.

#10 Watford FC

With over half of the season gone only Stoke City and West Ham have conceded more goals than Marco Silva’s Watford and a centre back will be their top priority.

Galatasaray defender Koray Gunter is on the top of the shopping list but it has to be seen whether Silva will go for him in Winter or wait until Summer to get him free.

The Hornets will try to strengthen the left back position also. With Stefano Okaka fallen out of favour, Marco Silva will try out his options for the position.

Needed - Center Back, Left Back, Striker.
