EPL 2017/18: What's on the shopping list for the teams in January?

<p>

#9 Everton

Sunderland v Everton - Premier League

Sam Allardyce and January transfer are two things which cannot be separated. Everton have not started the season like they wanted and Big Sam will have a number of targets on his shopping list, but with the size of the squad, Sam has at his disposal and the amount spent in summer the Englishman won't have a free run in the Winter transfer window.

Sam would be expecting to sign a striker better than Dominic Calvert-Lewin and ease the workload on the youngster. Cenk Tosun, the Besiktas striker is the most likely striker addition to the team. Sam would also add a strong midfielder to his list as he plans to strengthen the midfield and Steven N’Zonzi is the name that is heard around.

Needed - Striker, Midfielder.

#8 Leicester City

Watford v Leicester City - Premier League

Claude Puel's first task when the January window starts will be to complete the transfer of Adrien Silva. A move for the Adrien Silva in Summer fell off due to late paperwork. The Portuguese Midfielder will level off the gap created in the midfield after Drinkwater left.

Jamie Vardy, Demarai Gray, Shinji Okazaki, Islam Slimani, Kelechi Iheanacho, Ahmed Musa, Leonardo Ulloa, the depth of attacking options available is so deep and Puel will try to offload few with Slimani and Ulloa possible candidates. A backup centre Back will also be on the list they have only a few options for the position.

Riyad Mahrez has attracted interest from Chelsea and Arsenal and the Foxes will sweat to keep hold of their prized possession.

Needed - Adrien Silva, centre back, New No10.

#7 Burnley

Burnley's annual transfer budget is one of the smallest in the Premier League and Sean Dyche will not have much to spend in the winter. Burnley's target was to avoid relegation and now they are safe on the top half of the table with 27 points.

Sean Dyche has done an incredible work with the team by getting some good results. Sean Dyche will be happy to wait until Summer before making any additions.

Needed - Replacement for Michael Keane

#6 Arsenal

FC Barcelona v Arsenal FC - UEFA Champions League Round of 16: Second Leg

The biggest worry for Wenger will not be who to buy but to tie down Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez who has only six months of contract left with the team.

There will be plenty of offers for both the players and Wenger has to decide whether to Cash out the players or allow them to leave on free in the Summer if they decide not to extend their stay at the Emirates.

Wenger will have to look for replacements with both the players decide to leave the club.

With the leaky defence, the Frenchman will also try to few defensive reinforcements to the team.

Needed - Keep Ozil and Sanchez, Defender.
