EPL stats preview: Matchweek 6 - Swansea vs Arsenal

Arsenal Training Session

Arsene Wenger must be happy with his club’s progress in the competition so far

Arsenal are currently at the top of the league table with 12 points from 5 games. After starting their campaign on a bad note against Aston Villa, Wenger’s boys came back strongly winning 4 consecutive Premier League matches. Aaron Ramsey is in blistering form this season. He has already scored 3 goals in the league so far. With Wilshere set to return, after he was benched in the mid week League cup tie against West Bromwich Albion, the only crucial player to miss today’s match is Theo Walcott.

Leaving aside Wednesday’s cup defeat at Birmingham, Michael Laudrup’s journey had been pretty smooth so far this season.

After losing their first two league games they’re now three unbeaten, with a historic Europa League victory against Valencia. They are placed 9th in the table with 7 points.
