#3 Xherdan Shaqiri (Switzerland)

Switzerland v Turkey - UEFA Euro 2020: Group A
Switzerland v Turkey - UEFA Euro 2020: Group A

Xherdan Shaqiri's spell with Liverpool may have stagnated, but for Switzerland, he remains a key player.

Shaqiri, who has barely featured for Liverpool in the last two seasons, started every game for his country at Euro 2020. Switzerland have not been overly impressive and have often struggled, but Shaqiri has shown his class and quality, especially against Turkey.

Shaqiri scored a brace against Senol Gunes' hapless side as Switzerland registered a much-needed win at Euro 2020. The Swiss finished third in their group and their progress to the next round has now been confirmed.

#2 Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal)

More is expected from Fernando Santos' Portugal, who slumped to a disappointing 4-2 loss to Joachim Low's Germany.

Cristiano Ronaldo is once again the dominant figure for his country. A pretty poor team performance against Hungary was salvaged after a brace from the Juventus superstar and he was arguably Portugal's best attacker against Germany as well.

Ronaldo has scored three goals at Euro 2020 so far and will have to be at his very best as Portugal face France in their final group stage game of Euro 2020. Portugal are in a precarious position right now.

#1 Romelu Lukaku (Belgium)

Belgium v Denmark - UEFA Nations League

One of the best strikers in world football has arguably been the best forward at Euro 2020 as well.

Romelu Lukaku's Manchester United spell did not go according to plan, but the Belgium international has been sensational at Inter Milan. Lukaku thrived under the management of Antonio Conte, and Belgium have clearly benefitted from his incredible development in Italy.

A complete striker, Lukaku is an intelligent operator who is unstoppable when he gets going. The 28-year old has scored three goals at Euro 2020, and is among the favorites to win the top goalscorer in the competition.
