Everton face a challenge in retaining Fellaini, thanks to Chelsea, Real Madrid, and both Manchester Clubs

Norwich City v Everton - Premier League

Everton face a challenge in retaining Belgian midfielder Marouane Fellaini after Chelsea, Real Madrid, and both the Manchester clubs revealed their interest in him. In Everton manager David Moyes’ eyes, Fellaini has proved to be his most successful buy since his £15 million haul from the Standard Liege in 2008.

As Everton proceeds in making efforts to end the season with a place in the top four, Fellaini is keen on playing in the Champions League and, luckily for him, he is watched by some of Europe’s top clubs.

Although the Toffees usually sell off a valuable player to manage their finances, Moyes is intent on keeping Fellaini. However, it appears that Moyes wouldn’t be short on offers for the Belgian midfielder.

Chelsea and Real Madrid will be the most competitive, besides the fact that City and United have expressed their interest in the target; however, Sir Alex Ferguson and Roberto Mancini don’t consider Fellaini as a priority with their current situation.

With top clubs having no qualms in making a reasonable increase to his £75,000 a week wage, Fellaini seems to be well versed of the interest and is open to opportunities away from Goodison Park.
