Fabio Capello’s love for English football is well known.The former Three Lions manager has found life in Russia difficult despite four wins from four in World Cup qualifiers.
Capello has alerted Chelsea and Manchester City by declaring he would be honoured to manage in the Premier League.
The Italian told a Cambridge Union session: “I am available and would be flattered to be linked with jobs in this league.
“What I miss about football in England is that the stadiums are packed.”
Capello resigned a year ago over the FA’s decision to strip John Terry of the England captaincy.
He has vast experience in management of over 25 years. As a manager, Capello has the distinction of winning the domestic league title with every club he has coached throughout his career. He has managed teams like AC Milan, Real Madrid, AS Roma and Juventus.
