11. Sergio Aguero(Manchester City) - Long Term

AFC Bournemouth v Manchester City - Premier League
The Argentine is the strongest contender for captaincy this gameweek

The obvious choice for this gameweek is none other than Argentine forward Sergio Aguero, who scored a mammoth 20 points last week against Watford.

The player has already been involved in 7 goals and looks hungry for more. It also seems that manager Pep Guardiola has finally started to put faith in him, as the player has been on the field for more minutes than Gabriel Jesus.

Jesus also started the midweek fixture in the League Cup and this means that Aguero will lead the line against Crystal Palace.

A match against Crystal Palace at the Etihad is another opportunity for Manchester City to show their attacking prowess.

The London club looks clueless at the moment, and Aguero has the power to wreak havoc, making him the main contender for the armband this gameweek.

10. Harry Kane(Tottenham Hotspur) - Long Term

Tottenham Hotspur v Swansea City - Premier League
Managers should keep their faith in the forward

The Englishman missed the mark against Swansea, despite getting at the end of some solid chances and even hit the crossbar once.

Managers are losing faith in the forward but this is the right time to stick with him.

Kane has, as of now, delivered points in only 1 out of the 5 matches, despite taking the maximum shots in the box, in the league.

The player has shown his prowess when it comes to London derbies in the past, and a match against West Ham may just be the moment where Kane brings his ace game forward.

West Ham have conceded 10 goals in 5 games despite keeping two cleansheets and are currently languishing at 17th position.

9. Chris Wood(Burnley) - Differential + Short Term

Burnley v Crystal Palace - Premier League
Wood has been impressive for the Clarets

Burnley's new signing - Chris Wood did not take much time to settle in and was off the mark as soon as he arrived.

The player has scored twice in the 3 matches that he has played, and comes to the next game in strong form.

At £6.5 and a pick percentage of just over 2%, he's a strong differential option as well.

Burnley host newly-promoted Huddersfield in their next match that will be played at Turf Moor.

Huddersfield started off well, but have failed to perform in their last 3 games which include 2 draws and a loss.

A strong performance from the New Zealander will be needed if Sean Dyche's men want to beat the Terriers.
