FPL tips for Gameweek 10: Sell Kane, invest in Aguero, Richarlison worth a punt

Avoid: Raheem Sterling

Manchester City v SSC Napoli - UEFA Champions League
Raheem Sterling

Pep Guardiola's confusing rotating schemes has puzzled many an FPL manager since he took over the reins at Manchester City last summer. Known to be a tinkerman, the former Barcelona and Bayern coach constantly shuffles his side so as to get the best of all his squad players.

Two midfielders that have been exempt to this policy have been David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne - his vital cogs in the middle of the park. However, the likes of Bernardo Silva, Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling have often been given the rest before Champions League fixtures.

Bernardo and Sane enjoyed a good outing against Burnley last week and are expected to retain their spot in the starting eleven. Sterling, despite reaching 50 FPL points after scoring 15 in gameweek 8 alone, was omitted from the lineup against the Clarets. The England international may or may not be in the starting eleven this week, so it is advisable to avoid him in favour of David Silva or Sane.

Buy: Tomer Hemed

Aston Villa v Brighton & Hove Albion - Sky Bet Championship
At £5.0m, Tomer Hemed is a bargain option for a third striker

The Brighton striker missed the last three league games through suspension, and despite the exploits of Glenn Murray last week, manager Chris Hughton is likely to reinstate Hemed back into the fold.

Prior to his suspension, Hemed, at £5.0m, proved to be a practical budget option and a third striker for FPL managers. He is Brighton's main centre-forward, and when fit, is likely to start most of their games. He is also the cheapest active attacking option in the game and is a wonderful backup to have for managers playing with two strikers in their playing eleven.

Hemed has scored two goals and provided another assist this season. He also recorded an impressive 41 and 35 on the BPS in gameweeks 4 and 6 before sitting three games through suspension. Now firing on all cylinders, Hemed could prove to be a steal at this juncture in the game.
