This seems to be the right time to bring De Bruyne into our FPL teams.

Goalkeeper:

Martinez(L) has been solid between the sticks for Villa.

Emiliano Martinez (AVL) (£4.8 m) | Opponent: BHA(H): Villa demonstrated their defensive solidity with another clean sheet in FPL Gameweek 8. They'll look to extend their dominant run and keep their 5th clean sheet of the season against Brighton.

Defenders:

Chilwell is now an FPL must-have.
Chilwell is now an FPL must-have.

Vladimir Coufal (WHU)- £4.5 m | Opponent: SHU(A): Coufal is a great FPL differential option to consider. West Ham is almost guaranteed a clean sheet due to Sheffield's lack of attacking output. That, combined with the potential for attacking returns, makes Coufal a great FPL option to own.

Aaron Cresswell (WHU)- £5.1 m | Opponent: SHU(A): Cresswell has been the most creative defender in FPL. I'm doubling down on West Ham's defense due to their excellent run of fixtures. Cresswell's set-piece duties provide ample opportunities for attacking returns and a lot of FPL points.

Kyle Walker-Peters (SOU) - £4.5 m | Opponent: WOL(A): Believe it or not, Southampton are among the best teams in the PL. They have been pretty solid in defense after the 5-2 mauling, and Walker-Peters is a good FPL option from their backline.

Ben Chilwell (CHE)- £5.8 m| Opponent: NEW(A): Ben Chilwell is the most popular FPL defender currently. While he has a slight niggle, he should be fit in time for the Newcastle game.

Midfielders:

Grealish(L) has been a great FPL option so far.
Grealish(L) has been a great FPL option so far.

Kevin De Bruyne (MCI)- £11.5 m | Opponent: TOT(A): De Bruyne hasn't hit his stride yet this season, but he's still the second most creative player in the league. With City's fixtures turning for the good, De Bruyne is sure to get a lot of FPL points and is worth his premium price.

Wilfried Zaha (CRY)- £7.2 m | Opponent: BUR(A): Zaha has been among the top FPL midfielders this season. He should continue bringing in attacking returns playing out of position as a striker, especially against Burnley, considering his great record against the team.

Jack Grealish (AVL)- £7.2 m | Opponent: BHA(H): Grealish is an FPL must-have given Aston Villa's form and great upcoming run of fixtures. He's a viable captaincy option for Gameweek 9 and is very likely to get some FPL returns against Brighton.

Bruno Fernandes (MUN) - £10.5 m | Opponent: WBA(H): Bruno Fernandes has proved that he's a great FPL asset beyond penalties and has become increasingly involved in United's attacking play. He should get some more FPL points for his owners against West Brom.

Forwards:

Calvert-Lewin is the second-most owned FPL asset(at the time of writing).
Calvert-Lewin is the second-most owned FPL asset(at the time of writing).

Patrick Bamford (LEE)- £6.1 m | Opponent: ARS(H): Bamford has answered his critics quite fittingly and has impressed in the first eight Gameweks of the season. He's among the best FPL forwards in the game and can get some returns against Arsenal.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (EVE)- £7.4 m | Opponent: FUL(A): Calvert-Lewin has been very consistent with his FPL returns this season. He can be backed to produce more against Fulham in Gameweek 9.

Bench:

GK: Jed Steer (AVL) (£4.0 m) | Opponent: BHA(H):

1st Sub: Max Kilman (WOL)- £4.1 m| Opponent: SOU(H):

2nd Sub: Rhian Brewster (SHU) (£4.5 m) | Opponent: WHU(H):

3rd Sub: Mohamed Salah (LIV) - £12.0 m | Opponent: LEI(H):
