Fantasy Premier League Tips: 3 players to pick (Gameweek 27 )

A goal against the Champions for Newcastle's number 9 could bode good news for FPL bosses

#1 Salomón Rondón – Forward – (£5.8m)

Goals: 6

Assists: 3

Season Points: 80

Upcoming fixtures: HUD (H), BUR (H), WHAM (A)

I picked out Almirón as my punt yesterday but if you’re looking for a safer option the Newcastle frontman is a great pick for the coming 4 games! He’s already scored once this season against Huddersfield, who he’s up against in GW27.

Averaging 2.75 Shots per 90 and has been passing the eye test over the last few games. He’s also a player who is not expected blank in any of the upcoming games!

'Auba' could be red hot over the next few games for Arsenal.

#2 Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – Forward (£11.1m)

Goals: 15

Assists: 6

Season Points: 150

It was disappointing as an ‘Auba’ owner to see him miss out against Huddersfield in GW26. I expect him to feature this week in a good fixture against Southampton at home. He averages 3.53 Shots per 90 minutes which is the 3rd best for Forwards in the league this season.

He's the top points scoring Forward in FPL this season and has 2 goals and 2 assists in his last 5 appearances. He’ll be my captain this weekend too, despite concerns around his minutes. @FPLFujtown made a great point in that Aubameyang player 700 of a possible 720 minutes in December / January – 8 starts in a row and a game every 3.5 days. He’ll be fine in my opinion!

The Brazilian has been excellent this season for the Hammers.

#3 Felipe Anderson – Midfielder (£7.2m)

Goals: 8

Assists: 4

Season Points: 122

Upcoming fixtures: FUL (H), MCI (A), NEW (H)

The 8th top scoring midfielder in the game this season, Felipe Anderson has been a joy to watch. He’s got silky skills and an eye for goal. His shooting has dipped a little over the last 5 games averaging only 1 Shot per 90 but has made 6 key passes in his last 2 games of which 1 led to an assist against Liverpool.

@Sujanshah of Planet FPL podcast makes a great point that he only performs when he’s playing live on TV in the UK – and he’s on live tonight against the leakiest defence in the league in Fulham!
