Jose Mourinho, the Portuguese manager, who is without a job at the moment has spoken up about the best team he had managed in his illustrious career in an exclusive on beIN SPORTS.

The former Real Madrid and Chelsea manager was fired by his last club Manchester United about a month ago and has rarely spoken to the media since.

But of all the big clubs that the 55-year-old taken up the reins of, he conceded that Serie A giants Inter Milan were the best team he had managed to this day.

In case you didn't know...

Mourinho joined Inter soon after his first stint in the Premier League with Chelsea. He won the Serie A in his first season in-charge, just as he did in the 2004-05 season with the Blues.

He created history with the team that had players like - Balotelli, Milito, Zanetti, Eto'o, Sneijder and Julio Cesar, by leading them to an unprecedented treble. To this date Mourinho's Inter remain the only Italian side to have achieved this feat.



The heart of the matter

Jose Mourinho made a rare appearance on live TV with beIN SPORTS and discussed a range of topics, where the inevitable question regarding his favorite team was asked.

To which he replied without hesitation - Inter Milan, which is not surprising considering he won his second and last UEFA Champions League trophy with the club.

Speaking on the sports channel he said:

"I have to Inter[Milan], because we won everything."
"I have to be objective and respectful to them, as they won everything from day one to last day, won the treble."

He also didn't forget to remind the viewers that Inter had managed to beat some of the best clubs in the world at that moment in Bayern and Barcelona on their way to Champions League glory and the historic treble.

He continued:

"They[Inter] won the league with great points, won the cup, won 3 finals in 10 days, [so] I have to say the best team [is Inter]."

What's next?

Mourinho did not reveal anything about his future destination, but said that his next job will be in ‘top-level football’. In the meantime he remains jobless as his replacement Ole Gunnar Solksjaer has had a fantastic start to his life at the Old Trafford with the Red Devils.
