Juventus v Manchester United - UEFA Champions League Group H
The De Gea contract issue has been hogging the limelight for some time now, but on the field, the Spaniard has been focused as usual. He has been a tad unfortunate this season, playing behind a shaky defence that has cost him quite a few clean sheets. Against Juventus too, De Gea, could not secure a clean sheet, but he was the instigator of the comeback on the night.

While there was nothing that he could have done for the Ronaldo goal, De Gea was alert throughout the game, saving well from Pjanic in the 67th minute with the game poised at 0-0 and then saving again from the Bosnian Midfielder when the game was at 1-0.
But the pick of the save was in the 34th minute. Cuadrado burst into the right side and sent in a low drive into the box, which took a deflection off Matic and looked destined for the far post. But De Gea showed cat-like reflexes and kept it out. It was moments like this that kept United in the game and ensured that they were always within touching distance of Juve.
The Spaniard put up another stellar performance in the night and United should hold on to him with all their might.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
