The experienced Lyon centre-back had a solid game to remember as he stood his ground to withstand the Bianconeri onslaught and pushed his side to the quarterfinals of the UCL for the first time since 2010.

Holding down the fort with his three-man centre-back lineup, Marcelo did everything right. Aside from an important goal-line clearance, he cleared the ball out countless times, made tackles, interceptions, and blocked two shots at goal.

He was the defensive rock that Lyon needed to get past Juve and can look back on his performance with pride.

#2 Flop - Leo Dubois

Manning the right flank for Lyon, the wing-back failed to make an impact in defence. Time and again, he seemed unable to keep up with the Juventini attack and midfield, and they went past him with ease.

Overall, he struggled to play his part and picked up a yellow card after taking down Bernardeschi clumsily near the edge of the box in the first half.

However, a small shine from him was an attacking move where he dashed beyond Alex Sandro and put a solid cross into the box that slightly threatened a collected Juventus defence.

#1 Hit - Houssem Aouar

Perhaps the only Lyon player to consistently cause havoc within Juve's half, Houssem Aouar certainly played a good game. His youthful skill saw the 22-year-old weaving into the final third so much that he drew fouls to himself. In fact, he was the most fouled player on the pitch today, along with Higuain.

The first time he was fouled, Lyon picked up the penalty that Depay converted to break the deadlock. Notably, another penalty was almost given to Lyon 78 minutes into the game when Aaron Ramsey clipped Aouar's heel in the box.

Overall, he might have struggled defensively against the stronger Juventini side, but he certainly gave the Italian giants some food for thought with his dribbles and athleticism.
