Juventus v Club de Atletico Madrid - UEFA Champions League Round of 16: Second Leg
Atletico Madrid have a physical, intense style of play that often intimidates their opponents and forces them into submission. They had used the same tactics on Juventus in the first leg and had been successful in keeping Ronaldo at bay. Allegri knew that he had to beat the Spanish side in their own game if he wanted to win the tie.

The Juventus manager sent his men out to battle and set them out to press the away side right from the start of the game. It was a tactic that unsettled Atletico and they never recovered from it. Emre Can, Matuidi and Pjanic roamed the center of the park like warriors possessed and did not let go of the reins for a moment. This had Atletico pegged back into their own half and also forced them into uncharacteristic errors. Juventus started winning balls back and denied the away side a moment of respite.
In the end, it was a tactic that worked brilliantly for Allegri and enabled Juventus to win the game.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
