Samir Handanovic - 6.5/10

Samir Handanovic made a great save to deny Juventus striker Ronaldo from the spot. But there was nothing he could have done to keep out the follow-up. The Slovenian was let down by the Inter Milan defence, though, as they conceded two penalties during the game.

Milan Skriniar - 6/10

Milan Skriniar did not have the best of nights against Juventus. He looked uncomfortable on numerous occasions. Skriniar found it difficult to stand his ground and got his positioning wrong a few times.

Stefan de Vrij - 6.5/10

Stefan de Vrij was Inter Milan's best centre-back against Juventus. The Dutch international covered up for his teammates and ensured Ronaldo did not have free space to run into or shoot from distance.

Alessandro Bastoni - 6/10

Much like his Inter Milan teammates, Bastoni did not have a great game. He found it difficult to keep hold of Cuadrado on the right flank. The Italian international found himself helpless on various occasions, as Danilo and Cuadrado made it miserable for him at the back.

Achraf Hakimi - 6.5/10

Achraf Hakimi was successful in containing the threat posed by Chiesa. But he failed to produce anything substantial offensively. Hakimi did well defensively but lacked the cutting edge moving forward.

Nicolo Barella - 6.5/10

Nicolo Barella did all the 'dirty' work for Inter Milan in the centre of the park. The 24-year-old made six recoveries for his side throughout the game. Barella was pitted against Adrien Rabiot but found it difficult to link up with his mates moving forward.

Marcelo Brozovic - 6.5/10

Marcelo Brozovic pulled the strings for Inter Milan in the centre of the park. The Croatian maintained the tempo for his team, completed the most passes (80) throughout the game.

Brozovic was sent off in the dying minutes of the game, though, as he received his second yellow of the night for a poor challenge on Juan Cuadrado.

Christian Eriksen - 6/10

Christian Eriksen had his moments against Juventus. The Dane combined well with Lautaro Martinez for one of the best chances of the night for Inter Milan. Apart from that, though, Eriksen did nothing to threaten the deposed champions.

Matteo Darmian - 5.5/10

Matteo Darmian was guilty of conceding Juventus' first penalty of the night. He struggled against Cuadrado and was taken off by Antonio Conte following the restart.

Lautaro Martinez - 7/10

Lautaro Martinez enjoyed a great game against Juventus. The Argentinian striker won a penalty for his side by drawing a foul from De Ligt. Martinez came close to scoring an absolute screamer in the second half, but his effort went over the bar.

Romelu Lukaku - 7.5/10

Romelu Lukaku restored parity for Inter Milan from the spot. Although he did not have more opportunities to score, he engaged well with the Juventus defence.

Player Ratings of Inter Milan substitutes against Juventus

Ivan Perisic - 6/10

Ivan Perisic was brought on for Darmian following the restart. The Croatian did not prove to be an upgrade, though, as he gave away a penalty in the final minutes of the game, which proved to be the difference between the two teams.

Stefano Sensi - 6/10

Stefano Sensi was quite involved after he came on against Juventus but failed to produce anything substantial.

Matias Vecino - N/A

Vecino came on too late against Juventus to earn a rating for his performance on the night.
