#4 Sarri wants Icardi at Juventus
In 2016, when Maurizio Sarri was the manager at Napoli, he was very interested in bringing Mauro Icardi to the club.
The Italian's first choice center forward, Gonzalo Higuain, had just left for Turin and Sarri wanted to replace one Argentinean with another.
It was said that Sarri thought highly of Icardi and saw him as a perfect replacement for Higuain. Sadly, a deal never materialized.
However, it seems like the Italian might finally get his wish this summer. The current Chelsea manager is all set to get the Juventus job and one of his first actions might be to fulfill his long term wish.
Maurizio Sarri reportedly wants to bring Icardi to Turin this summer, as the Argentinean matches the profile of a goal poacher that the Italian desires.
Sarri is of the opinion that Icardi is one of the best strikers in the penalty box and the "Sarri-Ball" system has a high emphasis on such a specialist striker.
The Italian also considers Icardi to be a striker who can easily score 40 goals in a season and as such, is looking forward to getting the Argentinean in his new team.
