Tottenham Hotspur v Ajax - UEFA Champions League Semi Final: First Leg
The Sunday Times reports that Juventus are preparing a £30m bid for Tottenham right-back Kieran Trippier, who they see as the perfect replacement for Joao Cancelo. We had earlier revealed that a right-back was a high priority in the list of reinforcements for Juventus this summer, because Joao Cancelo, their Portuguese right back, was on his way to Manchester City.

Trippier did not have the best of seasons with Spurs this year but was still a vital member of the team that reached the final of the UEFA Champions League final. He was Pochettino's first choice right back throughout the season and was especially effective in the semifinals against Ajax. Juventus seem to have seen enough to believe that Trippier has the qualities to succeed at Turin.
It is believed that Napoli are also interested in the services of the Englishman, however, Juventus could be his more preferred option. Now that Sarri has been appointed as the new manager, one can expect things to speed up pretty fast.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
