Jagoba Arrasate’s Real Sociedad ran out comfortable winners over Getafe, as Carlos Vela scored the first La Liga goal of the season just before half-time and Seferovic scored a goal on debut after 70 minutes of play.
Athletic Bilbao ran out 2-1 winners over Real Valladolid, with Markel Susaeta breaking the deadlock on 28 minutes before Patrick Ebert levelled for the home side. Iker Muniain scored the winner for Bilbao in the 50th minute.
