Willy Caballero Biography

Wilfredo 'Willy' Daniel Caballero Lazcano is an Argentine footballer who is the goalkeeper for Málaga CF in Spain. Caballero started his football carrer playing for Boca Juniors in 2001, where he won three major titles in 2003. He played for Elche CF of Spain in 2004 where after a rough first season, Caballero become the undisputed starter, amassing nearly 200 Segunda Division matches. On 10 February 2011, Caballero was transferred to Málaga CF in La Liga and by October, he made history having kept his goal clean for 480 minutes. On 18 January 2012 Caballero signed a four year contract extension with Malaga.
