Lionel Messi along with Cristiano Ronaldo are arguably the two greatest players of this generation and now the Barcelona superstar has picked out a rather bizarre list of 9 wonder kids to watch out for.
The Argentine superstar claimed that he does not watch too much football but going by these choices, Lionel Messi definitely knows a thing or two about Thai League, MLS and Scottish Premier League.
The only recognisable faces in this team are the Chelsea and Manchester City kids out on loan. Here are the list of 9 players, Messi thinks will be the future of world football:
Chanathip Songkrasin (Muangthong United) – The 23-year-old attacking midfielder currently plays in Thailand and is called the Messi of the east by Thailand fans. He is said to be interesting a lot of European clubs.
Kasper Dolberg (Ajax Amsterdam) – Kasper Dolberg is a 19-year-old Danish footballer who plays as a striker for Dutch giants Ajax. In 7 League appearances this season, the talented youngster has already scored 4 goals.
Gabriel Boschilla (AS Monaco) – The 20-year-old Brazilian international is known for his creativity and dribbling skills, and Monaco will be hoping to get the best out of him in Ligue 1 this season.
