The duo are set to be reunited, but this time in the stands

Luis Suarez is currently one of the most prolific strikers in the game. With 93 goals in 107 appearances for Barcelona in total, the Uruguayan hitman has already started the season in style bagging 9 goals in 11 games for the Catalans. However, there is some big news concerning him today with regards to Liverpool.

The ex-Liverpool striker is supposedly set to appear at Anfield for the game between Liverpool and Manchester United. The Barcelona front man has been a long standing fan favourite at Anfield and as per rumours on twitter, is set to make a guest appearance in the stands for this big game. Suarez’s time at Liverpool was a spectacular one, in which the striker bagged 82 goals in 133 games and remains in the hearts of the club’s fans to this day.

The striker is all set to be watching tonight’s game along with his old team mates as news broke out that club legend Steven Gerrard and Daniel Agger are in Liverpool as well.

Steven Gerrard is the top scorer in this fixture in the Premier League era with eight goals for Liverpool. Although nothing is confirmed, Twitter is pretty excited nonetheless to see the former team mates and legends reunite for tonight’s crunch tie against old rivals Manchester United.

Liverpool are in hot form and host Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United with the book makers favouring the Reds. However, Liverpool have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last nine league games while Mourinho’s men have conceded 7 in their last four league games winning only once.

Jurgen Klopp has the better head to head record against Jose Mourinho and in fact, has lost only once to Mourinho in all their previous meetings.

Will the Reds get the 3 points they need to continue their title charge this season? Or will Jose Mourinho win against Liverpool at Anfield and kick-start Manchester United’s season with an important victory? We’ ll just have to wait and see.Have your say in the comments below
