Luka Modric is once again making news in Spain, but this time it is regarding his exit from the Santiago Bernabéu. The Croatian midfielder may be on his way back to White Hart Lane.

A deal is being put forth that would see Modric back in the Spurs squad is a very tempting one for the English side. Also with the £30million that Real Madrid have agreed to add to the deal, it is a tough deal to turn down, despite Spurs seeing this to be unrealistic.

Even if the deal is given the green light, it would it very unlikely that Modric will be too happy to return with his tail in between his legs. Owing to a bad season in Spain and unanimously declared as a flop signing by the Galacticos despite the goal against Manchester United in the Champions League, the English side may not been too keen on signing the Croatian play maker.

However, Modric would not want to return to his former club as a failure and will be determined to prove all his peers wrong with his performance in Real Madrid.

Sources have confirmed of another story that is brewing in Spain, regarding Real Mardid striker Gonzalo Higuain.

It is understood that the Argentine has claimed that he wants to go to London. With Higuain’s girlfriend getting a new job with the BBC, which is based in London, and with the couple expecting their first born, rumours suggest that they have decided to set up a home in the city.

With Chelsea on hot pursuit of Radamel Falcao, Real Madrid believe that they can get the deal sorted out with Daniel Levy,Chairman of Tottenham. The two clubs have already spoken to each other, regarding the deal for Welsh international, Gareth Bale. If the Tottenham do happen lose Bale, then the arrival of Higuain will soften the blow of losing their biggest asset.
