He was the reason PSG went into the break level, for Navas made a series of important saves to keep them alive in the fixture.


Achraf Hakimi - 6.5/10

The Moroccan deserves credit for keeping Sterling quiet for most of the match but rarely ventured forward.


Marquinhos - 7.5/10

The PSG skipper doggedly defended his goal throughout and also made a crucial block on Zinchenko in the first half.


Presnel Kimpembe - 7/10

He made a vital goal-line clearance in the first half to deny Rodri.


Nuno Mendes - 6.5/10

His surging run culminated in PSG's opener but Mendes struggled to contain Silva and Mahrez at the other end. He had to go off with an injury with 20 minutes remaining.


Ander Herrera - 6.5/10

He covered a lot of ground and made a few interceptions.


Leandro Paredes - 7.5/10

The Argentine worked hard in midfield, making six tackles and completing 95% of his passes.


Idrissa Gueye - 7/10

A hive of industry, Gueye was bright on his 50th appearance in the Champions League.


Lionel Messi - 7.5/10

He was anonymous in the first half but Messi burst into life after the break, even playing a key role in Mbappe's opener. Still not enough to save PSG from going down.


Kylian Mbappe - 7.5/10

The PSG No.7 wasted a glorious chance on the break in the first half. Although he made amends with a fine strike after the break, that miss eventually proved costly.


Neymar - 6.5/10

He created an excellent chance for Mbappe by picking out Stones on the halfway line but the latter wasted it. He himself fired a glorious chance wide after the break at the score being 1-0 to PSG.
