Aymeric Laporte set to travel to England

Vincent Kompany has struggled with injuries in recent times while there are uncertainties over Mangala. The Premier League leaders are looking to sign a defender and have identified Aymeric Laporte as a perfect fit for them.

The Premier League leaders have decided to trigger the release clause of Aymeric Laporte. According to the BBC, the French defender is going to England to complete his 57 million pounds move to Manchester City.

The 23-year-old has made 19 appearances for the French U-21 team but he is yet to earn a full international cap for his national team. He would become the most expensive signing in Manchester City's history as his transfer fee is more than 55 million pounds, which City spent for Kevin De Bruyne.

Manchester City interested in Eden Hazard

Manchester United v Chelsea - Premier League
Will he change the shade of the blue?

Manchester City is having a successful season but they are still looking to improve their team. According to the Goal, Manchester City is closely monitoring the situation of Eden Hazard at Chelsea.

The Belgian winger only has 18 months remaining on his contract and a bid of around 100 million pounds can convince Chelsea to sell him. Earlier, City manager Pep Guardiola said that he does not want to spend a large amount on a single player.

"We do not know in the future what is going to happen but we didn't pay more than £100 million, £90m or £80m for one player.

Joe Hart to stay at West Ham

Wigan Athletic v West Ham United - The Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round
Set to stay at West Ham till the end of the season

Joe Hart was one of the highest earners at West Ham. The England no.1 goalkeeper is on loan from Manchester City, but he has lost his place to Adrian. The 30-year-old was the first-choice goalkeeper at the start of the season but his poor form resulted in him being dropped to the bench.

West Ham was knocked out of the FA Cup last week, which means lesser opportunities for Hart. The goalkeeper needs to play more if he wants to revive his chances of making the England world cup squad.

According to the Telegraph, West Ham do not want to let Joe Hart leave in the January window despite him being one of the top earners at the club. The club is expected to resist any offers for him to exit the club and he is expected to stay at the club until the end of the season.
