Manchester City forward Jack Grealish recently shared his thoughts on what might top his treble-winning season. Talking to reporters, the Englishman revealed several goals he has in mind that have the potential to trump the feeling of securing a continental treble.
After an underwhelming maiden campaign with the Cityzens, post his €117.5m move to the Etihad Stadium, Jack Grealish redeemed himself by forging a stellar second season. He made a whopping 50 appearances in the 2022-23 season, grabbing five goals and providing 11 assists across all competitions. He proved to be a pivotal option for Pep Guardiola, especially in the Premier League, providing 1.8 key passes per game while maintaining an impressive 87% passing accuracy.
His contributions greatly helped Manchester City secure their first European title, as well as the trophies they won on the domestic front. Talking about how it feels to win the treble, Grealish said (via Goal):

Manchester City's Jack Grealish reveals his current injury is the most painful one he has ever suffered
Despite a spectacular 2022-23 campaign, Jack Grealish has only made eight appearances for the Sky Blues this term. However, this development has more to do with his fitness issues than his form. The former Aston Villa captain picked up a dead leg in Manchester City's clash against Sheffield United in August, ruling him out for the subsequent matches.
Grealish was initially spotted in crutches and followed it up by spending several weeks at the City Football Academy as part of his rehabilitation plan. Talking about his injury, the England international stated (via Manchester Evening News):
"Apart from a kidney injury six years ago, [this] is the most painful [injury] I have had."
"It was the worst dead leg I have had in my life. I genuinely could not walk. I was on crutches for a few days after the game and I swear I could not even explain this pain. I could not bend my leg."
Grealish finally returned to the Manchester City setup in their recent UCL match-up against RB Leipzig, playing a total of 72 minutes as his side registered a 3-1 win.
