Real Madrid enter the clash against Valencia on the back of the defeat to Manchester City

Real Madrid were picked apart in their previous game against Manchester City in the second leg of the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League. They lost 4-0 at the Etihad, losing 5-1 on aggregate.
