Chelsea

Newcastle United v Chelsea - Premier League
It was an afternoon to forget for the Blues

Thibaut Courtois - 6/10

Returning back from a back injury, Courtois produced one of his best displays today. The Baggies did score 3 goals, however, the Belgian was not to be blamed for that.

The scoreline could have been much worse for the Blues had it not been for the Belgian international. Undoubtedly Chelsea's best player on the pitch this afternoon.

Cesar Azpilicueta - 4/10

It looked like the Spaniard was putting in some effort in the game but it wasn't enough. He was helpless as the home team scored 3 goals.

Andreas Christensen - 3/10

Ever since the start of 2018, Christensen hasn't been able to perform like he used to do in the 1st half of the season. Gayle and Perez pressed high and the young defender had no answer for that.

Gary Cahill (C) - 3/10

The captain had been playing well in the center for the last few games, but Conte decided to start him on the left, and that caused a lot of trouble for the English international. Ritchie kept running down that flank. Just like other defenders, Cahill looked lost.

Victor Moses - 3/10

You can blame Moses for the 1st goal as he was caught sleeping and provided nothing while going forward. Poor crosses and all over the place; sums up his afternoon.

Tiemoue Bakayoko - 2/10

For the most part of the game, Bakayoko couldn't be seen on the pitch and his poor clearance resulted in a goal for the home team. A really awful performance.

N'Golo Kante - 4/10

It is very rare that Kante has an off game and this was one of them. With Bakayoko and Barkley on his sides, Kante had just so much to do and couldn't deliver today.

Emerson Palmieri - 3/10

After a few good games in the beginning, this would be a game to forget for the Italian. He provided nothing going forward and was poor defensively as well.

Ross Barkley - 3/10

Starting his 2nd game since January, Barkley tried to link up with the others and get the game moving. But since he isn't a regular, he was missing for most of the game lacked quality.

Eden Hazard - 3/10

One of his poorest game this season. He looked isolated for the most part of the game and couldn't provide the spark that Chelsea hope from him.

Oliver Giroud - 3/10

Just like Hazard, Giroud was completely isolated in the front. A really poor performance, but can't blame him when your whole team plays sh*t.

Substitutes:

Willian - 3/10

The Brazilian couldn't provide anything after coming on in the 76th minute.

Alvaro Morata - 3/10

Like Willian, the Spaniard had nothing to offer after coming on in the 76th minute.

Pedro - N/A
