5. Kevin De Bruyne - Manchester City

With 16 assists, a premier league title to his name, and a third place at the world cup last season; De Bruyne seems to be at the peak of his unbelievable career. His style of play is exactly what Pep Guardiola would want. Simple, aggressive and bold. Often considered as one of the best midfielders in the world, this 27-year-old Belgian was the centerpiece of one of the most remarkable plays of the historic 2017/18 season for Manchester City. Providing assists in the deep-lying areas, as well as being an attacker when he is needed, De Bruyne is a complete package. Along with his teammates Ilkay Gundogan and David Silva, De Bruyne is the link that provides what Man City's free flow football needs; Composure. After missing out on the first two games this season, De Bruyne made his appearance against the Wolves and provided what he always does. KDB truly holds the value for who he is, so much that he is named as a contender for the FIFA Football Player Of The Year.

4. Eden Hazard - Chelsea

No introduction needed for the 'magician' as we head into the 2018/19 season with an Eden Hazard who isn't what he was. This Eden Hazard is focused, he is in his penultimate form, creating tonnes of problems for the oppositions, as we saw against both Arsenal as well as Newcastle. Under the realm of Maurizio Sarri, this Belgian forward is given more of a playmaking role either as a number 10 or sometimes as a deep-lying attacking midfielder, making Morata, Pedro, and Willian the target men. With Ngolo Kante and Jorginho supporting him from the box, and Marcos Alonso providing the deadly runs from the left flank, Hazard now lies in the center of all the action that goes on in the Chelsea Machinery. After securing the 3rd place in the world cup, delivering one of the most outstanding performances ever devised, he now looks forward to a resurrected Chelsea side, a side which was never experienced by anyone. It is too early to say, maybe way too early, but we all know what the current Real Madrid target is truly capable of.

3. Harry Kane - Tottenham Hotspur

World cup Golden Boot. Consecutive performances in the league. Constant nominee for the FIFA Ballon d'Or. What more credentials do you want from a player who is easily the most complete center forward in the world? A player who is known not only for his consistency but also his leadership quality, that led his team to the world cup semi-finals. Even with the 'lack of trophies', the England Captain holds his individual achievements higher than anybody. After two consecutive victories against Newcastle and Fulham respectively, the tall Spurs striker does not seem to give up. Being deployed as a deep target man, and often falling prey to most of the defenders, Kane manages to cycle through the layers of defenders set up against him. With Eriksen and Alli providing the most perfect through balls, Kane only seems to enjoy every bit of opportunity that emerges in front of him; converting all of them into goals. With a brand new role in the team and a more versatile playmaking quality, Spurs are easily one of the contenders for the Premier League title.

2. Mohamed Salah - Liverpool

'He came, he conquered, and he is here for more' certainly, the Egyptian king has done way more than what was expected. Arriving at a thriving Liverpool side for £35 million transfer fee, this quick, agile and the miraculous forward made all the difference in just one season. Winning the golden boot in his debut season, leading his team all the way to the Champions League final, setting unparallel records and laying the foundation for a new era of football, something the Liverpool fans would never have thought of. Often considered as one of the best in the world, and drawing comparisons to Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, the former AS Roma forward is now at the centerpiece of world football, replacing Phillipe Coutinho and justifying himself as one of the most feared attackers, this 26-year-old keeps getting better after every single game. Liverpool's 2018/19 season kicked off with a whopping 4-0 victory over a much struggling West Ham United, as Klopp made sure to deploy Salah in a much deeper role; Providing varied runs for midfielders like Naby Keita and James Milner to be more open in the box. In addition, Sadio Mane is seen to be more in the center of the picture as a goalscorer as Salah would've been, which confirms that Salah now plays on either side of the flanks supporting the attacks, yet scoring goals. A complete footballer is what he truly is.

1. Sergio Aguero - Manchester City

Not only in the Premier League, but in most of the football competitions, it is thought that the theory of playing two strikers isn't worth the manager's tactics. Pep Guardiola cleared the hoax by playing both Aguero as well as Jesus in the attacking region, with Mahrez and Sterling fitting perfectly as the supporters in the all-star Manchester City lineup. Aguero, in general, has been a versatile forward this season. Being the current top scorer in the league, this Argentine forward has had some issues in the past seasons, as the rise of Sterling - Sane - Jesus trio had withheld his potential; It would now be safe to say that this resurrected center forward is a reflection to what he was. What he truly is, and what he is truly capable of. We have all missed him since the famous 2011/12 season, as well as the 2013/14 season, where he was the driving force behind the Premier League Titles. What fuels his resurrection is the fact that Pep now plays four in the midfield and sometimes 3 in the attack, giving him more chances to score and assist the likes of Gabriel Jesus, Raheem Sterling, and Leroy Sane. He is now at the top of his game and will continue to do so.
