Many Chelsea faithful slammed Antonio Conte when Chelsea started the season brilliantly under new boss Maurizio Sarri. They criticized Conte's decision to freeze out David Luiz from the first team picture last season as the Brazilian played a key part in Sarri's unbeaten streak at the beginning of the season after he was given a chance to play.

However, his excellent displays for the Blues did not last for too long as he was involved in Chelsea's heavy defeats against Manchester City and Bournemouth afterwards. He has recently been criticized due to his inability to maintain consistency in his play.

He had kept a clean sheet against Dynamo Kyiv in the Europa League, only to conceded 2 goals in the subsequent match against Everton in the Premier League. Sarri has now moaned countless times about Chelsea's lack of consistency and Luiz should be the first person to take the blame.

Dele Alli

The Tottenham superstar was labelled as one of the most valuable midfielders in Europe last November. CIES Football Observatory revealed that the 22-year old's value stood at mind-boggling £144.36 million. This value was worth more than Paul Pogba's £100 million at the time.

Alli was also linked with Europe's biggest clubs such as Barcelona and Real Madrid in the past due to his reputation as one of England's most promising youngsters. However, his stats undoubtedly say otherwise this season. His career has been marred with several injuries and his passing accuracy has taken a dip this season.

He has often frustrated his teammates due to his knack of keeping hold of the ball for long and misplaced passes. The Spurs star has only completed 79.2 per cent of his deliveries and has lost the ball at least once per game on an average in the league. If we look back at his CIES value, the £144.36 million price-tag surely look far-fetched.
