The frizzy-haired player was Chelsea's most hyped star alongside Marcos Alonso and Eden Hazard last season. Barcelona have relentlessly tried to snatch the player from the London side since last year and were willing to offer Malcom plus cash in a deal worth £50 million.

That offer could be considered high for a 30-year-old winger but Chelsea decided to play hardball by rejecting it instead. The former Shakhtar player has yet to gain a stable foothold in the club since Sarri took over last summer.

Sarri has rotated heavily between Pedro and the Brazilian to pair with Hazard this season. Now Willian has even lost his place in the starting line-up to emerging Callum Hudson-Odoi.

For now, Willian only looks like a wunderkind who is never going to realize his full potential due to inconsistencies. Even if he manages to move to Barcelona, he would be just another Malcom at the Camp Nou, mostly sitting on the bench.

Kieran Trippier

Perhaps most English players are indeed overrated as Trippier has joined fellow countryman Alli and Walker in this list. The Spurs full-back was undeniably impressive at the World Cup but he has not been able to show his worth since.

The 28-year-old was compared to David Beckham due to his lethal free-kick and pinpoint crosses back then. He was so overhyped at one point that even Real Madrid were linked with making a move for him. He has pretty much been a liability going forward in recent months as he has been involved in just one goal since November last year.

His defensive work has also not been up to the mark. Trippier has made numerous schoolboy mistakes which have costed Spurs dearly in the league. His own goal in a clash against Chelsea could serve as a perfect example for his defensive woes this season.
