And now we reach the point in this list where the market valuations are jaw-droppingly high. But having said that, I think most would agree that these final five players deserve such a high price tag - they're some of the world's best in their respective positions.

Kevin De Bruyne has been simply outstanding for Manchester City in recent seasons. Chelsea must be kicking themselves for not giving the Belgian enough of a chance when they had him as a young man from 2012 to 2014. He would join Wolfsburg for a mere £20M, proving to everybody that he was in fact an exceptional talent, before he earned a move to City worth around £65M.

Like with Bernardo Silva's rise in valuation, City will be pleased to see that De Bruyne is worth over double the amount they paid for him in 2015. De Bruyne has entered his peak years now at 28, so this is likely to be the highest price tag he'll have before it slowly begins to decrease. Still, he will probably be crucial to City's side for at least another couple of years.
