With the Barclays Premier League just round the corner, check out the top 4 clubs looking to seal this year’s Premier League title.

1. Manchester City

The current Premier League Champions, and the “Noisy Neighbours of Manchester”, under the leadership of Roberto Mancini, with maniacal spending last season, have definitely built a strong squad and will try to retain thier Premier League title. With Joe Hart as goalkeeper, Defence having the likes of Vincent Kompany, Micah Richards and Gael Clichy, and an attack consisting of David Silva, Sergio Aguero, Samir Nasri, Balotelli and their “Midfield Maestro” Yaya Toure, this team’s substitutes can also give strong challenge to the big guns of the Premier league (especially the likes of Kolarov). With such a huge amount of spending, this team doesn’t even need to sign new players for a few years, and will still give a tough competition for Premier league title.

2. Manchester United

The “Red Devils” with a rare trophy-less season last year, will be raring to regain their title from Manchester City. Losing the title in the last few minutes of the Premier League must have really choked the 19-times Champions, and I am sure they will be ready to take revenge. Vidic is back from injury, and the signing of Shinji Kagawa and Nick Powell has really bolstered their attack. With Nani, Young and Valencia on the wings, and Rooney and Hernandez at strike, Manchester United have really got the required fire power to break into any defence. And if Robin Van Persie joins this line-up, Manchester United will surely have the Premier league’s best Attack this season, to claim their title back.

3. Chelsea

The current European Champions, under the leadership of the ultra-defensive Roberto Di Matteo have really made great teams like Barcelona and Bayern Munich almost literally cry. With Petr Cech protecting the goal, and a world class defence, along with Torres and Drogba , Chelsea were able to bag FA Cup and the UEFA Champions league. The club owner Roman Abramovic has been playing the most prominent role for the club this season by signing Eden Hazard, Oscar, and Marko Marin, who have added the needed Attack to the already defensive line-up. With Fernando Torres looking in form in the recently concluded Community Shield, and such great spending and signings, Chelsea sure are hot-contenders for the title this season.

4. Arsenal

After recovering from the loss of key players like Nasri and Fabregas, and a humiliating defeat at the hands of Manchester United, Arsenal really needs to be appreciated fro their comeback to the top 3 in the last season. But again, almost on the verge of losing their Driving Force and the league’s top goal scorer, Van Persie, Arsenal must really be crying out at their luck. Still, Arsene Wenger has managed to to sign quite a few quality strikers to replace Van persie, in the form of Oliver Giroud, the Spanish Santi Cazorla, and Lucas Podolski. With such good signings, and under the leadership of Arsene Wenger, this Arsenal team cannot be under-estimated, and can still give the league leaders a serious challenge.
