Liverpool won’t sign Insigne
A report from Italy had earlier claimed that Lorenzo Insigne is a huge fan of Jurgen Klopp and would like to play for him. However, it seems as though the German is not keen on signing him.
The former Dortmund manager made it absolutely clear that he has no intention of signing the Napoli star even though he admitted that he is a great player but won’t even try to make a move for him due to his long-term contract with the Italian outfit.
“We will not sign Lorenzo Insigne," Klopp said.
"He is a very good player but he has a long-term contract at Napoli. We will not even try it.”
The Reds are currently fighting for the Premier League title against Manchester City and are just a single point behind the league-leaders. They are also in the Champions League semi-final, where they will face Barcelona.
