Bayern Munich player ratings against PSG

Manuel Neuer - 7.5/10

Manuel Neuer pulled off some fine saves against PSG, particularly from Neymar, to keep Bayern Munich ahead. His sweeping ability also came to the fore on occasions.

Alphonso Davies - 6/10

Davies had a relatively quiet game by his high standards and did not offer too much going forward before his substitution.

Lucas Hernandez - 8/10

The France international was Bayern Munich's best defender against PSG, with a total of five tackles made and three interceptions. He timed a late tackle to perfection, denying Neymar in the box when he was through on goal.

Jerome Boateng - 7/10

Jerome Boateng was given the run-around by Neymar on occasion but still put in an impressive shift for Bayern Munich.

Benjamin Pavard - 6.5/10

The France international could not contain Kylian Mbappe throughout the first half, and most of PSG's attacks came down his flank.

David Alaba - 7.5/10

David Alaba was deployed in midfield for Bayern Munich, and he proved to be one of the biggest attacking threats for the visitors. The Austria international had two shots on target - one of which led to the goal - and also contributed defensively.

Joshua Kimmich - 6.5/10

Kimmich did not have as much control in midfield as he did in the first leg against PSG. He should have done better with a golden opportunity that fell his way in the first half.

Kingsley Coman - 6.5/10

Kingsley Coman struggled to get the better of Colin Dagba for most of the game and did not have as much impact against PSG as he should have done.

Thomas Muller - 6.5/10

Thomas Muller had a couple of half-chances and showed his creativity by providing four chances for his teammates.

Leroy Sane - 8/10

Leroy Sane was the brightest spark for Bayern Munich and constantly put the PSG defense on the backfoot with his direct running. He should arguably have done better with some of the chances that fell his way, but nevertheless, he still gave a standout performance.

Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting - 7/10

Choupo-Moting might have scored the match-winner against PSG but other than that, the Bayern Munich striker was largely anonymous against his former side until his substitution in the 85th minute.

Substitutes

Jamal Musiala - 6/10

The 18-year-old came on in the 71st minute for the ineffective Alphonso Davies.

Javi Martinez - N/A

The Spain international came on with just five minutes left to play and did not get enough time to warrant a rating.
