Juventus make Verratti top target

According to recent reports in the Daily Mail, Serie A champions Juventus are preparing to make Marco Verratti their prime transfer target this summer.

The 25-year-old, who has amassed 200 appearances across all competitions at PSG in six seasons there, sustained a season-ending groin injury and underwent successful surgery earlier this month.

He's expected to return before the start of the new campaign, by which time, Juve hope they can persuade him to leave Paris for pastures new.

They have also been heavily linked with Liverpool's Emre Can, whose contract is set to expire this summer - but Verratti is believed to be their top target and will not come cheap either.

Currently valued at €70m (£61.2m), PSG will be very reluctant to let him leave unless the Italian reveals his desire to go - similar to the way in which they handled Barcelona's interest in him twelve months ago.

Paris a possible destination for Özil?

Mesut Ozil could be leaving this summer if reports are to be believed

According to a report on Football.london, Paris Saint-Germain could be Mesut Özil's next destination - despite only signing improved terms with Arsenal back in January.

The creative midfielder, 29, has appeared as a favourite with bookmakers Ladbrokes to join the Ligue 1 champions and it could have as much to do with managerial changes as anything.

Arsene Wenger was one of the main reasons behind Ozil's £42.5m move to north London from Real Madrid in the summer of 2013.

The legendary Frenchman departed the club after 22 years in charge this past weekend but his future is unknown at present.

PSG's new boss Thomas Tuchel is Özil's compatriot and could be interested in making a formal approach to combine him alongside international team-mate Julian Draxler - who last year revealed he wants to play with him at club level.

Battle set for Lazio's Sergej-Milinkovic Savic

Milinkovic-Savic's form has attracted interest from across Europe for his services

PSG's ongoing issues with Financial Fair Play is outlined as the major stumbling block between themselves and finalising a deal in place for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who has excelled across all competitions this term.

The 23-year-old Serbian has attracted interest following impressive displays under Simone Inzaghi's guidance over the past twelve months and Manchester United were discussed as frontrunners for his signature.

According to French newspaper L'Equipe though, PSG have been monitoring his progression for over a year now and sporting director Antero Henrique approached his agent - former striker Mateja Kezman last week.

However, their ability to negotiate terms on a lucrative move is hampered by potential sanctions that UEFA are yet to hand out regarding their excessive spending last summer.

Lazio have one final league fixture this weekend before Milinkovic-Savic is expected to join his national team-mates in preparation for next month's World Cup.

Any talks are expected to occur after that point, but with both United and also potentially Juventus interested, it will not be straightforward for the Ligue 1 champions to complete this deal.
