Inter Milan midfielder Christian Eriksen sits in third spot on the list of the highest paid footballers in Serie A at the moment. The playmaker bagged a juicy contract when he joined Inter Milan from Tottenham Hotspur last year and he is paid a massive £250,000 weekly.

Eriksen was influential as the Nerazzurri claimed the Serie A title last season, recording three goals to his name from 26 appearances. However, there are doubts over his participation this term due to health concerns following his collapse on the pitch while representing his nation at the European Championship in June.

Meanwhile, the midfielder was allowed to visit Inter's training ground recently and reports claim he could be allowed to return to the field but under certain conditions. It remains to be seen whether he will feature this season.
