Now we take a look at the goal that won Mo Salah one of his many individual accolades in the FIFA Puskas Award 2018. He could not have asked for a better stage to score one of the most memorable goals of his career. It was the first Merseyside derby of the 2017-18 campaign with Jurgen Klopp's men hosting Everton at Anfield.

Salah received a pass from Joe Gomez near the box. He shrugged off Cuco Martina at the edge of the box, twisting and turning to lose the defender. Then he beat Idrissa Gueye with his quick feet and opened up some space for himself.

He took a couple of steps in his stride and then with a surgeon's precision curled in his shot into the top-left corner of the goal. He left a full-stretch Jordan Pickford miles away from ever making contact with the ball.

The decision to award this screamer the Puskas Award proved to be a controversial one. This brought about some changes in the selection process for the winner with fans determining which three goals make it into the final round.

The latest addition to the ever-growing list of goals for Mo Salah came against Watford this season. This was opposition against whom he had opened his Premier League account for Liverpool. In the game, which ended in a 5-0 away win for the Reds, Salah scored a left-footed wonder.

In the 54th minute, he collected a pass from Firmino, a yard inside the penalty area. He had four Watford defenders to beat before he even had a shot at goal.

But it did not prove to be a challenge for him as he left Tom Cleverley, Cucho Hernandez and Juraj Kucka in his wake with lightning-quick footwork. The final victim of the night was Craig Cathcart, who found himself on the ground in the blink of an eye with an ill-timed tackle. The finish was the cream of the crop, a side-footed composed finish into the far post.

We know how good Salah is with his dominant left foot but the final goal on our list is the one that he scored from his weaker right foot.

He picked up the ball near the edge of the box and slalomed his way past three defenders. He left Bernardo Silva flat on his back before slicing his way into the box. As he made his way near the Manchester City goal, the angle became tighter and tighter, with almost no space to maneuver with his left foot.

With one sharp flick from the left foot, Salah wrong-footed Aymeric Laporte. In his stride, he managed to pull out a powerful shot from his right foot, leaving Ederson no chance to process what came at him.
