The winter transfer window is soon going to shut close and every single club in LaLiga are doing all they can to bring in the players they need. The Spanish giants, Real Madrid and Barcelona, are the ones who are highly active right now and they are ready to spend big too!

Here are the top rumours of the day:

Arsenal 'working on a deal' for Denis Suarez

Arsenal manager, Unai Emery has all but confirmed that the Gunners are looking to sign Denis Suarez from Barcelona. The midfielder is looking to leave the Catalan club this month and has an opportunity to move to the Premier League side.

When asked about a possible deal for Denis Suarez, Emery said, “The club is working with every situation that can help us.” Barcelona were reportedly open to selling him at first but changed their mind after an injury to Rafinha, they are reluctant to let go of the former Manchester City starlet unless they get a replacement.

“I cannot speak about individual players but I know the club is working on different possibilities if it can help us this month for our competition. The transfer window is difficult for the market but the club are working – if one player comes to help us then I am happy but the club is doing that and I am going to wait.”

Diego Simeone to sign new Atletico contract

Atletico Madrid are in a great position right now with their top players having signed long-term contracts. Now, the Spanish side are going to make things even better with Diego Simeone set to sign a new deal.

The Argentine manager was previously linked with a move Chelsea and Inter Milan last summer but it looks like he is staying put. The manager's new contract is reportedly set to be until 2021.

Real Madrid to sign Radamel Falcao

While former Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata is set to join Atletico Madrid, one former Atletico striker is heading to Bernabau. Don Balon report that Los Blancos are closing in on a deal to sign Radamel Falcao from AS Monaco.

The Columbian has been in good touch ever since he moved back to Monaco. The striker spent two seasons in the Premier League – first at Manchester United and Chelsea – both on loan but was unable to impress. He was termed as a flop at both clubs and Monaco could not sell him off.

Real Madrid are in dire need of goals as Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale have not been able to deliver in front of the goal. The fans are begging the club to sign a striker and Falcao might be the temporary solution.
