#3 Guardiola and Pochettino

Real Madrid target Mauricio Pochettino might have dropped a bomb on the Galacticos as he has claimed that he targets a long term stay with the Lilywhites. The Merengues have been targeting a move for the Argentine manager but it seems as though they might find it very difficult to sign him.

Mauricio Pochettino stated that he hopes to stay for the next two decades with the North London outfit as he is very focused at the club and wants to win trophies there.

"I hope, or I wish, to be here 20 years and decide to leave or to finish my career here," Pochettino was quoted as saying.

"I am so focused here, and want to help the club to achieve what the club want to be in history."

"It would be fantastic. I am so happy to be here. I am so happy to work in that pressure. Why not?"

Meanwhile, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has expressed his delight at Real Madrid being interested in a player that graduated from the academy at the Etihad.

The former Barcelona manager also hoped that the youngster gets playing time at the Santiago Bernabeu, which he didn’t get at City.

“We wish him all the best. Of course, going to Real Madrid is not a bad step and hopefully he can get the minutes he didn't get in the last period for many reasons,” he said.

“On the other side, again, congratulations for our academy, they are working so well and in the end, this is what happens, important teams in Europe want to sign our players because it's working really well.”

#2 Isco has offer from Juventus

Former Malaga midfielder Isco has been linked with a move out of the Santiago Bernabeu for a while now. The moment Isco fell behind in the pecking order, the stories surrounding him began to surface in the news outlets.

When Julen Lopetegui was in charge of the Galacticos, Isco had a prominent role. However, his fall from grace under the tutelage of Santiago Solari has been quite phenomenal, to say the least.

The Spanish midfielder couldn’t start for the team even when both Gareth Bale and Marco Asensio were unavailable against Real Sociedad. Teenager Vinicius was preferred over the Malagan and it has only fueled the speculations linking him out of the Bernabeu.

According to reports, Juventus are interested in signing the Spaniard and the imminent arrival of Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey on a free transfer doesn’t change the desire of the Old Lady.

Icardi is wanted by Real Madrid

The last two stories have something to do with the Nerazzurri. The Italian outfit have been interested in signing Luka Modric since the summer of 2018 and it seems as though the arrival of Giuseppe Marotta as the CEO of the club won’t change that.

According to reports, Inter never really gave up on signing the Croat and would pursue a move for him in the summer even with the change in the hierarchy.

Before that, however, they might have to lose one of their best players in the form of Mauro Icardi. The Argentine has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for a while now and according to Don Balon, Florentino Perez is considering making a €100 million move for him in the upcoming days.
