According to reports coming from Italy, Chelsea’s Egyptian winger Mohamad Salah is set for a move in the January transfer window. The winger’s agent is said to have set himself for talks with Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan tomorrow to hammer out an 18-month loan that will keep the speedy winger at the San Siro till the end of the 2015/16 season.

Salah was brought to Stamford Bridge by Jose Mourinho last January after having tormented the Blues with his breathtaking displays for Basel in the Champions League. The fleet-footed midfielder has however not been able to make any breakthrough into the Londoners side in his one season at the club.

This season has seen Salah feature only two times for the Blues, seeing a total of 12 minutes of action on the pitch, thus prompting his agent to look for pastures anew.

Inter Milan are said to be entertaining the idea of making the move a permanent following the tenure of the 18 month loan, which would give them a good period to pass a judgement on the Egyptian international.

The report suggests that the Nerazzurri will have to pay 12 million pounds at the end of the loan deal to secure Salah’s signature, the same amount Chelsea coughed up last January to bring him to English shores.
