Real Madrid are still chasing

Eden Hazard to Real Madrid rumours are back and this time the Spanish club have offered Alvaro Morata and cash to the London club for their star player. Reports in the Mirror suggest that the Los Bancos are extremely keen on signing the Belgian this summer.

Real Madrid are said to be evaluating Eden Hazard at £75 million. They are not ready to offer so much in cash and are thus adding Alvaro Morata to the deal. They value the striker at £40 million despite signing him back from Juventus for £30 million last week.

The offer put forward by Real Madrid is said to be of £35 million cash and Alvaro Morata. Chelsea though, value Eden Hazard at least £100 million. Their former manager, Jose Mourinho is famously quoted saying last summer that Eden Hazard’s one leg is worth £100 million.

Chelsea were interested in signing Morata and had made several enquiries for the striker. But Real Madrid chose to exercise their buy-back clause in his contract at Juventus and the player also opted to complete the move.

With Morata signing for Real Madrid, Chelsea turned to Michy Batshuayi and are said to have completed the deal to sign the Belgian striker from Marseille for €40 million. Antonio Conte is still keen on Morata and with Diego Costa linked with a move back to Atletico Madrid, he might opt to make a move for the Real Madrid striker again. Morata has been the most sort-after striker this summer with several clubs including Juventus, Manchester United, Arsenal and PSG interested in the striker.

Zidane is said to be a huge fan of Eden Hazard and the player has also revealed that the Real Madrid manager is his Football idol. The chance of working together might be a tempting one for both and they might not want to let slip of this opportunity.

Back in November when Zidane was asked about Eden hazard, he said “After Messi and Ronaldo, Hazard is my favourite player. It is spectacular to see him play. Do I see him going to Real Madrid? I love the player, that's all I will say.”

Hazard has repeatedly said that he wants to stay at Chelsea for as long as he can and is only thinking of moving to one club in the future – back to Lille where he wants to retire.
